Ambras Castle as the venue for one of the largest Renaissance festivals.

The Ambras Castle Festival takes place again this year on 15 August and invites visitors to celebrate and marvel in the impressive setting of Ambras Castle Innsbruck.

The castle festival is a joint event with the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik and is characterised by art, culture, music and culinary delights. Let yourself be transported back in time and experience exciting guided tours, entertaining concerts and numerous attractions!  

 

INFORMATION

  • Date & Time: August 15, 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Admission: Admission is free. For guided tours and concerts, seat tickets à EUR 6,-- can be purchased directly on site on the day of the castle festival.
  • Free parking at the DEZ area: The DEZ shopping center provides free parking for visitors to the Schlossfest. A free shuttle bus will take guests from the DEZ (bus stop opposite IKEA) via the Tivoli Stadium bus stop to Schloss Ambras Innsbruck every 15 minutes between 1 pm and 8 pm.
    Parking is not possible in Schlossstraße in front of the castle on August 15 (handicapped parking spaces are available in limited numbers).
